I recently moved into a beautiful neighborhood in the country and was very warmly welcomed by a lovely lady with homemade chocolate chip cookies!  Shortly afterwards I also met her husband, Bert Brooks, a minister, author and  landscape specialist!.  He has lived in the country and walked where Christ has led him his whole life.  We have spoken of our books - him with many published books.  They are about Christian faith, life in the country and good ole neighborly living!  His stories are warm and detailed enough that you feel you are there on the porch with them enjoying the country sounds and family atmosphere.  Bert, in his easy going way, portrays his faith and love of people, and it is evident in his writing.
